FEBRUARY is here!!!!
The shortest month in the calendar and one filled with love ๐.
January often feels like one long Monday ๐ but we are moving along very nicely and to keep us motivated, Iโve included a brand new recipe to our App, check it out in the Recipe Section.
EAT WELL
LWL Indian Spiced Vegetable Curry. Itโs so delicious and perfect for this cold weather and for a weekend treat. Itโs simple and beyond healthy and tastes as good and better than any. Try it and see for yourself and you can always give a protein boost by adding some chicken lean meat, or fish.
WORKOUT
Sometimes on the busy and cold winter days itโs hard to fit in the gym, your class, your run so Iโve added a new workout to the App thatโs just 5 minutes. Itโs a home workout that incorporates a full body workout with just 2 exercises, one focusing on upper body and the other on lower body which will push our heart rate, metabolism and cardio fitness levels so we are literally buzzing with that feel good feeling we get from training and being fit (5 Minutes! ๐ฎ๐๐ป๐)
GOALS
Whatever you want to do, no matter how small or big it is - DO IT!
Let February be the month. When we eat well and work out to keep fit and energized (even just for 5 minutes) we will be in our best place to take on the challenge.
I decided that before my next birthday I wanted to handstand, (but it doesnโt have to be crazy ๐, goals can be anything that we set our minds to) and you know what I am having so much fun doing this ๐and I am so kinda proud of myself for deciding to just do it. Donโt get me wrong, I have a bit to go and maybe I wonโt be quite walking on my hands for my next birthday but I sure as hell will have given it my best shot!
TOP TIPS FOR FEB
Eat Well
Real food as often as possible.
Prepare for the week.
The vegetable curry recipe is ideal for batch cooking.
Exercise
5 minutes every day at your maximum output by completing one good tough Tabata and if you can do more than that on any day...go for it ๐๐ป
Set A Goal
What an awesome feeling it is to achieve, no matter how small that achievement is because itโs a personal achievement and it will make us feel good.
